The Payroll Specialist manages pre-payroll tasks and ensures full compliance with European labor regulations. The role requires maintaining accurate payroll records, handling exception processing, and supporting forecasting and analytics. Additionally, this role will involve collaboration on mid-year and year-end processes to ensure precise time management data.

Responsibilities:

  • Process pre-payroll activities, ensuring adherence to various German labor regulations
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to gather necessary payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive payroll documentation, including data for internal and external audits
  • Ensure all records meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage exception processing, including special cases and one-off payments
  • Forecast payroll expenses and generate analytical reports for management review
  • Assist in mid-year and year-end tasks such as reconciling time management data and adjusting records
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of all required information
  • Create regular payroll reports and dashboards, providing insights to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
