ZEAL Network SE is seeking a Tech Lead for Fraud Prevention & Player Protection. You will own the domain within Zeal's Core Platform, translating risk and regulatory needs into scalable capabilities.

You’ll manage a small engineering team, contribute code, and drive architectural decisions to ensure compliant, reliable operations. You will shape the platform with a focus on secure, robust solutions, partner with Product Management, and drive API and data workflows across services while adopting

Your team's mission

Your team's mission is to own Zeal's Fraud Prevention & Player Protection domain as part of the Core Platform: fraud detection and automated blocking across the customer lifecycle, dunning and debt collection, AML, and responsible gambling. As Tech Lead, you translate risk, regulatory, and player-protection requirements into scalable platform capabilities that keep our operations compliant and reliable.

Your Tasks

• You lead a product-focused engineering team that builds and evolves Zeal's core B2B platform capabilities for internal business customers
• Hire, Build and lead a team of 2 engineers: Create a high-performing team, fostering an ownership-driven and reliability-focused engineering culture
• Evaluate and introduce fraud detection and prevention platform
• Lead technically and strategically, define and drive architectural decisions together with your team
• Code as part of the team: While guiding architecture and strategy, you’ll regularly write code, contribute to features, and help solve complex technical challenges together with your team
• Champion the effective use of AI in your team's engineering workflows (e.g. AI-assisted development and tooling) and explore opportunities to apply AI within the platform's capabilities
• Act as a sparring partner for Product Management and our internal businesses to define and drive product and tech strategy
• Deliver secure, robust and maintainable technical solutions while focusing on great customer experiences and business needs
• Drive collaboration: Work closely with other teams to align APIs, technical interfaces, and architectural consistency
• Own and operate the domain and the team’s microservices.
