Job summary

Phorms group in Hamburg is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers, plan and run activities in after-school and holiday care, and communicate with parents and external partners. You will help decorate and organise classrooms, supervise trips and breaks, and contribute to a bilingual learning environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related childcare qualification, experience in a primary setting, and English at C2 level with an eagerness to learn German.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a similar qualification in Education or Childcare.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• English at C2 level and an interest in learning German with the commitment to achieve a competent level.
• Open-minded, flexible, and solution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with day-to-day lesson-related tasks.
• Independent planning and implementation of activities in the after-school and holiday care.
• Communicating with parents, colleagues and external organisations.
• Helping to decorate and organise the classroom, supervising school trips and breaks.
