For an innovative company in the aerospace industry located in the Bremen area, we are seeking a Systems Engineer Aerospace (m/w/d) at the earliest possible date. This position is offered as a direct hire (permanent placement) opportunity.
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Perform functional validation, hardware-software integration testing, test script development, debugging, and issue resolution
- Contribute to functional test engineering activities, including test specification development, requirements traceability, and verification processes
- Work closely with hardware, FPGA, software, verification, systems, and quality engineering teams to achieve project objectives in terms of technical performance, quality, and delivery
- Support flight software development activities, including requirements implementation, software design, coding, unit testing, documentation, peer reviews, code reviews, and debugging
- Opportunity to take on or progress into a Lead Software Engineer role, providing technical guidance and leadership within flight software projects
Ihr Profil:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, combined with experience in embedded software development, preferably within the aerospace or space sector
- Strong expertise in C programming and the development of embedded real-time software systems
- Experience with real-time operating systems, unit testing, processor simulators, scripting languages, and software development standards such as ECSS
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, development lifecycles, quality assurance, and industry best practices
- Structured and quality-oriented approach to work, with strong teamwork, communication skills, and fluency in written and spoken English and german
