Zusammenfassung

Orizon GmbH sucht für ein innovatives Unternehmen im Luft- und Raumfahrtbereich im Raum Bremen einen Systems Engineer Aerospace (m/w/d) in unbefristeter Festanstellung. Die Stelle ermöglicht 40% Home-Office und flexible Arbeitszeiten.

Sie arbeiten eng mit Hardware-, FPGA-, Software- und Verifikations-Teams zusammen, führen Funktionsvalidierung, HW-SW-Integrationstests sowie Flight-Software-Unterstützung durch und können sich zu einer Lead-Software-Engineer-Rolle entwickeln.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektronik o.ä. mit Erfahrung in eingebetteter Software.
• Fundierte C-Programmierung und Entwicklung von Echtzeit-Software.
• Erfahrung mit RTOS, Prozessor-Simulatoren, Unit-Testing und ECSS.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Aufgaben

• Durchführung von Funktionsvalidierung, HW-SW-Integrationstests, Debugging und Problemlösung.
• Beitrag zu Funktionstests, Anforderungsverfolgung und Verifizierungsprozessen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Hardware-, FPGA-, Software- und Verifikations-Teams zur Zielerreichung.
• Unterstützung der Flugsoftwareentwicklung, inklusive Implementierung, Design, Tests und Code-Reviews.
• Möglichkeit, später Lead Software Engineer Rolle zu übernehmen.

For an innovative company in the aerospace industry located in the Bremen area, we are seeking a Systems Engineer Aerospace (m/w/d) at the earliest possible date. This position is offered as a direct hire (permanent placement) opportunity.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Perform functional validation, hardware-software integration testing, test script development, debugging, and issue resolution
• Contribute to functional test engineering activities, including test specification development, requirements traceability, and verification processes
• Work closely with hardware, FPGA, software, verification, systems, and quality engineering teams to achieve project objectives in terms of technical performance, quality, and delivery
• Support flight software development activities, including requirements implementation, software design, coding, unit testing, documentation, peer reviews, code reviews, and debugging
• Opportunity to take on or progress into a Lead Software Engineer role, providing technical guidance and leadership within flight software projects

Ihr Profil:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, combined with experience in embedded software development, preferably within the aerospace or space sector
• Strong expertise in C programming and the development of embedded real-time software systems
• Experience with real-time operating systems, unit testing, processor simulators, scripting languages, and software development standards such as ECSS
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, development lifecycles, quality assurance, and industry best practices
• Structured and quality-oriented approach to work, with strong teamwork, communication skills, and fluency in written and spoken English and german
