OHB SE in Munich seeks a versatile electrical engineer to join our space systems team. You will contribute to multiple engineering tasks, develop electrical architectures, and design related subsystems for space missions.

You will perform requirements analysis, verification, and AIT activities, support manufacturing and test campaigns, and engage in mission support from Ground Control Station with travel as required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in PCB development.
• Good understanding of Linux-based operating systems and C and Python source code.
• Initial project engineering experience, ideally in the space sector or a process-driven industry.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.

• Support proposal activities and prepare programmatic and technical documentation.
• Translate scientific requirements into research instruments and facilities with partners.
• Contribute to engineering aspects including electrical architectures and subsystems.
• Perform requirements analysis, design, verification, and AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) activities.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, and test campaigns with spaceflight hardware.
• Contribute to mission support activities such as mission preparation, live operations from Ground Control Station, anomaly investigation and data post-processing.

• Contribute to multiple engineering aspects of the projects, including the development of electrical architectures and related subsystem designs
• Perform requirements analysis, design, verification, and AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) activities
• Support manufacturing, assembly, and test campaigns, including hands-on work with spaceflight hardware
• Contribute to mission support activities such as mission preparation, live operations support from the Ground Control Station, anomaly investigation and recovery, as well as post-processing of mission data
• Depending on the mission profile and destination (e.g. sounding rockets, ISS, free-flyers, or future space stations), support launch site activities and participate in mission-style campaign operations, including travel as required
