Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support day-to-day enterprise systems, perform basic server tasks and assist in training design and delivery. The role blends foundational admin work with instructional design for technical training.

You'll install and patch OS, monitor system health, manage user access, and help create quick-reference guides and simple e-learning. Strong communication and a current secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with server builds, OS installation, configuration, patching, and routine maintenance following established procedures and runbooks.
• Monitor system health, review alerts, perform first-line troubleshooting, and elevate incidents with clear diagnostics and documentation.
• Utilise standard administration tools for user and group management, file permissions, and basic network configuration on servers, updating tickets and configuration records.
• Support the design and delivery of technical and process training by helping define learning objectives, organise content, and translate procedures into learner-friendly steps, graphics, and examples.
• Build and maintain training assets such as slide decks, handouts, simple e-learning modules, job aids, and quick-reference guides.
• Facilitate portions of classroom or virtual training sessions, respond to common learner questions, and collect feedback, quizzes, and surveys to measure training effectiveness.
• Help track training participation and outcomes in learning management systems and support change-management activities tied to new system or process rollouts.

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract‑specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
