What You'll Do

In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.

Lead and evolve global electrical engineering standards, specifications, and design guidelines across a diverse facilities portfolio.

Review electrical designs for capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, and critical facility improvements to support consistency, quality, and compliance.

Guide technical strategy for power distribution, UPS, generators, transfer systems, and other critical power infrastructure.

Partner with cross-functional teams to improve resiliency, operational readiness, and long-term facility performance.

Support renewable energy and electrification initiatives, including solar, battery storage, EV charging, and utility coordination where relevant.

Translate technical requirements into clear standards, design guidance, and executive-ready summaries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Komplexe technische Probleme an Halbleiter-Inspektionssystemen und deren Baugruppen unter Reinraumbedingungen analysieren und lösen – auf Basis von Messdaten, Maschinenprotokollen und Systemdokumentation und mit strukturierten Methoden zur Ursachenanalyse wie 8D
• Neue Produkte, Produktverbesserungen und Produkterweiterungen in die Serienfertigung überführen
• Neue Bauteile, Module und Fertigungsprozesse für die Produktion qualifizieren – von der Prüfung der ersten Lieferantenteile über Testaufbauten bis zur Integration von Prototypen
• Neue Konstruktionen daraufhin bewerten, wie gut sie sich fertigen lassen und wie zuverlässig sie arbeiten, in Design Reviews mitwirken sowie Änderungsanträge erstellen und vorstellen
• Spezi­le Vorrichtungen, Werkzeuge und Prüfstände entwickeln, aufbauen und in Betrieb nehmen, welche die Montagezeit verkürzen, Qualität verbessern und Kosten senken
• Die Dokumente erstellen und pflegen, mit denen unsere Fertigung arbeitet: Zeichnungen, Prozessbeschreibungen, Aufbauanleitungen, Prüfvorschriften und Checklisten
• Als zentrale technische Ansprechperson zwischen Fertigung, Entwicklung, Qualität, Einkauf, Lieferanten und Kunden agieren und Bauteil‑ sowie Lieferantenthemen klären, um nachhaltige Qualitätsverbesserungen und Kostenreduzierungen zu erreichen
• Technische Diskussionen führen und komplexe technische Zusammenhänge gegenüber Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus Fertigung, Entwicklung und Management verständlich erklären
• Defekte Ersatzteile aus Kundenreklamationen oder der Fertigung analysieren, dokumentieren sowie Korrektur‑ und Abstellmaßnahmen definieren.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Technischer Optik oder Physik – alternativ in Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik, Maschinenbau oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation; ein optischer Schwerpunkt ist ausdrücklich bevorzugt
• Erste Berufserfahrung in Fertigung, Montage oder Entwicklung hochpräziser Baugruppen, idealerweise im industriellen Produktions- oder Entwicklungsumfeld
• Sicherer Umgang mit Datenblättern, technischen Zeichnungen, Toleranzangaben und Stücklisten
• Interesse daran, wie optische, mechanische und elektronische Komponenten in einem Präzisionsgerät zusammenwirken, und der Anspruch, dieses Systemverständnis bei uns aufzubauen
• Eigenverantwortliche, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten
• Hohe Kommunikations- und Überzeugungsfähigkeit
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Fähigkeit, in einem interdisziplinären, multikulturellen und global verteilten Team zu arbeiten
