Job summary

BIOTRONIK is seeking a System Developer in Measurement Technology to design, implement, and test measurement solutions for production facilities. You will work in an agile environment, develop test scenarios, and coordinate architecture issues across Europe, the USA and Asia. A strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on software skills (C#, Java) are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience in electrical engineering/measurement technology with software skills (C#, Java).
• Good knowledge of measurement technology and electronic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement innovative measurement technology for production facilities and test setups.
• Agile programming of measurement stations and verification of measurement capability.
• Coordinate external services in measurement technology to build long-term partnerships.
• Familiarize with electronic circuits of BIOTRONIK products and develop automated test scenarios.
• Coordinate system architecture issues across departments and locations and develop standardized modules.

System Developer Measurement Technology (m/f/d) 1 1 1

BIOTRONIK is one of the leading manufacturers of cardio- and endovascular implants and catheters for cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology and vascular intervention. The Production Technology IT department evaluates and develops software solutions for digitization and the integration of processes and production equipment in order to be able to manufacture developed products in series. The team works with modern development methods and a state-of-the-art technology stack.

Your tasks

• Definition and implementation of innovative measurement technology and its integration, testing and documentation for production facilities and test setups
• Agile programming of measurement stations as well as their verification of measurement capability embedded in the team and in close coordination with internal stakeholders
• Evaluation and coordination of external services in the field of measurement technology to build long-term partnerships
• Familiarization with the electronic circuits of our innovative products and the development of automated test scenarios in a productive environment
• Coordination of system architecture issues across departments and locations (Europe, USA, Singapore) as well as development of standardized solutions for measurement technology and program modules

Your profile

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, technical computer science or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering/measurement technology with good knowledge of software programming (e.g. C#, Java)
• Good knowledge of measurement technology and electronic circuits
• Enjoy to work in a team and is highly motivated to jointly implement creative and innovative solutions in the area of system development, software and digitization
• Solution-oriented and communicative way of working
• Very good knowledge English and basic language skills in German
