Advantest Europe GmbH seeks a System Architect (m/f/d) for the SmarTest 8 hardware layer ART. You drive the architectural vision, work with customers, and align roadmaps with business teams in an agile context.

You bring deep software architecture experience, proficiency in Java and C++, and strong communication in English, enabling cross-functional collaboration and high-quality deliveries.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience as lead software developer or software architect.
• Experience as software architect in large system software development.
• Proficient in Java and C++.
• Experience with Scrum/SAFe processes.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze complex problems and design robust system software solutions.
• Design and implement system software for the SmarTest 8 hardware layer ART.
• Collaborate with customers to understand use models and propose solutions.
• Define architectural vision for the agile release train.
• Develop architecture roadmap and align with product teams and solution architects.

• Analyzing complex problems

• Experience with component based software development
• Experience on Scrum / SAFe software development process
• Working self-reliant and being part of an agile team
• Deep understanding of software design concepts and methodologies
• Profound knowledge of OO software development methods and tools
• Good communication skills; Fluent in English
• Mix of office / home remote working model (architecture design meetings with scrum teams in the office)
