EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a highly motivated System Administrator fluent in German to join our team. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and networks, ensuring availability and security of IT infrastructure, and supporting with hardware/software implementations.

Candidates should have extensive knowledge of cloud tech, Linux, network protocols, cryptography, and IT security, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience and German C2 plus English proficiency.

Qualifikationen

• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of the administration of servers and operating systems (Linux).
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• In-depth knowledge of cryptographic procedures and the use of digital signatures and certificates.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, encryption and access controls.
• In-depth knowledge of virtualised environments and cloud services.
• In-depth knowledge of IT security and data protection.
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring and backup tools.
• In-depth knowledge of the set-up and handling of distributed systems (incl. geo-redundancy).
• In-depth knowledge of configuring and monitoring distributed systems both on application servers and in cloud-based environments.
• At least 3 years of demonstrable practical experience.
• Based in Germany.
• Fluent command of oral and written German (level C2 required) and English at a sufficient level.
