Supply Chain Quality Engineer - PCA (m/f/d)

Aufgabe

• Assures manufacturing, quality and reliability of technically challenging PCBAs throughout the outsourced supply chain.
• Audits and develops printed circuit board PCBA suppliers in accordance with Advantest's quality and technology requirements.
• Develops and implements strategies for continuous process monitoring of outsourced PCBA manufacturing with the aim of consistently receiving and delivering the highest quality products.
• Drives resolution of technical issues on PCBA level at and with our EMS providers.
• Develops, maintains and shares expertise of PCBA design, PCBA production and automated test of PCBAs.

Qualifikation

• Bachelor's, master's, or university degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, materials science, physics, or a comparable field.
• In-depth knowledge of PCBA design, manufacturing, and testing, acquired through relevant professional experience; ideally certified IPC A-600 and IPC A-610 specialist.
• Excellent analytical skills in solving technical problems, including remotely and with partners.
• Experience with supplier development and supplier audits in the EMS sector, ideally certified as process auditor acc. VDA 6.3.
• Strong team spirit and ability to work in an intercultural environment; strong self‑management, coordination and communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Ability to travel 5‑20% of the time.
