Zusammenfassung

SPX FLOW is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager in Norderstedt, Germany. You will own end-to-end supply chain operations, leading Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Management and Warehouse functions while driving logistics improvements.

Reporting to the Site Leader, you will shape supplier performance, forecasting accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives in a hybrid work model (4 days in office). Fluency in English and German is required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years' leadership experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Planning, or Logistics.
• Proven track record of delivering operational improvements and business results.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience driving Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The Role

As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that ensure:

• Material availability and supply continuity
• Optimized inventory and working capital
• High supplier performance and strong partnerships
• Efficient warehouse and material flow operations
• Enhanced forecasting and planning accuracy
• Continuous improvement across the entire supply chain

Reporting directly to the Site Leader, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and supporting company growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Supply Chain Leadership

• Lead and develop Purchasing, Planning, and Warehouse teams
• Set clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability measures
• Build a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement
• Develop talent and succession plans

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Manage sourcing, procurement, and supplier performance
• Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
• Drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements
• Mitigate supply risks and implement contingency plans

Planning & Inventory Management

• Oversee demand planning, supply planning, and production scheduling
• Improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance
• Balance service levels with working capital objectives
• Monitor and improve key supply chain metrics

Warehouse Operations

• Lead inventory control, receiving, storage, and distribution activities
• Improve warehouse efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy
• Implement best practices and process improvements

Continuous Improvement

• Lead Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives
• Apply methodologies including:
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Kaizen
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • 5S
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • A3 Problem Solving
• Support ERP and supply chain transformation projects

Essential

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' leadership experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Planning, or Logistics
• Proven track record of delivering operational improvements and business results
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience driving Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent English
• Professional working proficiency in German

Preferred

• MBA or Master's degree
• APICS / ASCM (CPIM, CSCP), CPSM, Lean Six Sigma certifications
• ERP implementation or optimization experience
• Manufacturing or distribution environment experience
