Zusammenfassung

HARMAN is seeking a seasoned SCM leader to drive the global Supply Chain Excellence program. You will manage cross-functional initiatives, define governance, and align projects with business objectives, influencing a large organization.

The role demands strategic thinking with hands-on execution and extensive SAP IBP experience. You will partner with global teams to standardize processes, deploy SC systems, and guide digital transformation initiatives, including AI and analytics.

Qualifikationen

• Be degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain, program management, or management consulting.
• Technical expertise in project and program management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean PMO).
• Strong proficiency in SAP, IBP, and S4HANA; expertise in Microsoft apps and business intelligence tools.
• Hands-on SAP IBP experience; prior involvement in SAP IBP implementation projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead large-scale cross-functional projects with substantial impact on operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership; able to influence senior executives.
• Experience managing external vendors and driving accountability in complex supply chain projects.
• Resilience and adaptability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain a global SC standards playbook (e.g., BMS) for global accessibility.
• Define process indicators to support deviation analysis and performance optimization.
• Identify and replicate best practices from high-performing SCM teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with minimal guidance.
• Co-develop training programs.
• Map and analyze end-to-end SC processes using flowcharts and process mapping.
• Optimize cross-functional processes across Demand & Supply Planning, Supply Framework, Logistics, Inventory, and Plant Logistics.
• Promote global standardization of processes, policies, and metrics.
• Simplify processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Represent SCM in audits.
• Lead process improvement workshops using formal problem solving tools.
• Co-Define system requirements for planning, analytics, and tools.
• Co-Lead implementation and global deployment of SC systems.
• Support digital transformation through AI, data analytics, and automation.
• Evaluate and recommend new systems not currently in use within SCM.
• Lead and deliver end-to-end SCM and cross-functional projects.
• Ensure project execution meets quality, budget, and timeline.
• Support SCM initiatives as SME or core team member.

About The Role

The colleagues is responsible for executing high-impact initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, network capabilities, and organizational resilience. This role is regarded as the project and process expert within the Supply Chain Excellence function, leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that directly impact the supply chain organization of ~100 people and indirectly influence ~12,000 employees across the business. With in-depth expertise in process improvement, this role is accountable for developing governance frameworks, managing multiple project portfolios, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. The position requires conceptual and innovative thinking to solve unique problems, sophisticated stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to drive organizational change at scale. Extensive experience in driving Supply Chain improvements is required and a basic requirement for this role.

What You Will Do

• Standards
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Supply Chain (SC) standards playbook (e.g., BMS) to ensure global accessibility and compliance.

• Evaluate and recommend new systems not currently in use within SCM.

• Lead and deliver end-to-end SCM and cross-functional projects as defined by the business.
• Ensure project execution meets quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
• Support SCM and cross-functional initiatives as a subject matter expert, core team member, or SCM representative.

What You Need To Be Successful

• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain, program management, or management consulting
• Technical expertise in project and program management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean PMO)
• Strong proficiency in SAP, with in-depth knowledge of IBP and S4HANA highly preferred, along with expertise in Microsoft applications and business intelligence tools
• Proven experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including strong hands‑on usage; prior involvement in SAP IBP implementation projects is highly preferred
• Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross‑functional projects with substantial impact on business operations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with experience influencing senior executives
• Experience in managing external vendors and driving accountability in complex supply chain projects
• Resilience and adaptability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive and results‑oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
