We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full‑time (40 hours per week) as Subsurface Asset Director (m/f/d).

Responsibilities
  • You have to construct, maintain , and deliver the field development plan for the company's first major capital project.
  • You oversee well delivery, monitor drilling and completion performance, and ensure well designs fully meet subsurface and operational requirements.
  • You consolidate short- and long-term production forecasts, integrating data across reservoir, wells, and facilities to support accurate performance and planning.
  • You identify technical uncertainties, lead risk mitigation and contingency planning, and drive schedule, budget, and technical integration across Reservoir Development, Production, Wells, Facilities, HSE, and Commercial teams.
  • You lead reserves estimation, secure third-party certifications, and maintain alignment between reservoir models, field development plans, and business objectives.
  • You mentor and coordinate a multi-disciplinary subsurface team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and safe operations, while providing regular performance updates and decision‑support materials to senior management and investors.
Qualifications
  • You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Petroleum, or a comparable field.
  • You have 15+ years of experience in Petroleum/Geothermal Engineering or Geoscience with field development and major capital project execution experience.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to deliver large capital projects from concept to production while managing cost, schedule, and risk.
  • You are fluent in English, German knowledge is a plus.
  • You work proactively, are solution-oriented, and are a true team player, even under pressure.
