Your Future Role

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to the Software & Control TCIS Domain Leader and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We’ll look for you to :
  • Deliver the subsystem documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD).
  • Define and implement the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated subsystem.
  • Integrate the subsystem into the train (both mechanically and electrically).
  • Define the Interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem.
  • Verify of the subsystem (focus on train level) including design reviews.
  • Change and configuration management process for the subsystem on train level.
  • Control of changes after design changes including impact analysis.
  • Planning and follow up of all activities linked to the subsystem.
  • Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers.
  • Providing inputs to engineering team, sourcing, suppliers or PUs.

  • Bachelor of Science degree, MA or PhD graduate.
  • Typically, minimum 4 years of relevant work experience with a BSc degree, 2 years relevant work experience with Master’s degree or PhD graduate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead a meeting internally and with suppliers, writing and synthesis ability, curiosity, and constructive spirit.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Very good technical understanding of complex systems interacting in a network.
