Job summary

Amazon Workforce Staffing is hiring for warehouse roles in Germany to pick, pack, and ship orders for fast deliveries. The positions offer both full-time and part-time options with fixed shifts and option to select schedules later in the process.

Responsibilities

• Get customer orders ready and pack them

• Operate powered industrial trucks and work at heights up to 13m (training provided)

Job description

Salary

Starting September 1st, our entry-level wage will increase to €16,28

• Salary 15.65€ gross per hour for day time shifts
• Guaranteed wage adjustment after 12 months (calculated 15.96€ /h gross)
• and 24 months (calculated 17.43€ /h gross)

Shifts

We offer both full-time (+30 hours/week) and part-time (12+ hours/week) opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles.

Shift options and availability vary by site, but you'll have the ability to choose your schedule later in the process.

Working week: Mon-Sat, 5 days, 2 Saturdays/month

• RGL1 Amazon - Gewerbepark Ostsee 3, Dummerstorf
• DMV1 Amazon - S42 Transport GmbH, Zum Frachtzentrum 3, Rostock

Transportation

• All employees at Amazon receive the Deutschlandticket (worth €63.00 monthly) free of charge

• Starting from week 43, a free shuttle bus service will operate between Wismar Central Station and RLG1 during shift hours!

Job Overview

You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders – in some cases, for our super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service.

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Receive and put away inventory
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and van
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
• You’ll also need to be able to
• Lift up to 15kg solo and 23kg team lift (RGL1 only)
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards
