A Day in the Life

Are you passionate about solving problems and turning ideas into reality? As a Student Worker in our Packaging Operations team, you will support impactful projects that improve manufacturing processes, workplace layouts, and operational performance. From analyzing process inefficiencies to helping implement new systems and equipment, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced engineers and operations professionals in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Internship details

Start date: 1st November 2026 Location: Deggendorf, Germany Duration: up to 2 years Working hours: 10-20 hours per week Work model: onsite

Responsibilities
  • Support continuous improvement projects by proactively identifying optimization opportunities and helping implement practical solutions.
  • Assist in analyzing operational processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement potential.
  • Help evaluate and deploy new systems, technologies, and digital tools to enhance manufacturing and packaging operations.
  • Support the planning and execution of facility, equipment, and layout improvement projects, including cleanroom and packaging area redesigns.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, AI, or a related field
  • Fluency in German and at least upper-intermediate (B2) level in English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proactivity and hands‑on‑mentality
  • Would be a plus: 3D‑printing experience Interest in coding / vibe‑coding and/or experimenting in AI based process development
