Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany) invites you to join our Formula 1 electronics project as an internship. The role is full-time, lasts at least four months, and offers fair compensation.

You will support the development and testing of power electronics, design and set up electrical test equipment, perform measurement campaigns, and assist with debugging and design verification. Basic studies in electrical engineering or mechatronics are required, along with an interest in motorsports

Our Team

Since the 2026 season, Audi has been competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Center in UK is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

Our internships as well as thesis projects last at least four months, are full-time, and we offer fair compensation.

This position is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

As an intern, you will assist the team of power unit F1 electronics developers and contribute to the development power electronics as well as peripheral electronics for the next generation of F1 vehicles.

• Targeted and structured work practices
• Strong implementation skills and a high level of motivation and personal initiative
• Excellent team skills
• Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to learn a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
