A leading research institute in Darmstadt is seeking a student assistant for Windows Binary Fuzzing. This role involves evaluating binary fuzzers and expanding program corpora. Ideal candidates have a background in computer science and programming skills in C and C++. This position offers flexible working hours and the potential for thesis opportunities.
Fraunhofer SIT is one of the leading research and development institutes for secure information technology in Germany and Europe. The focus is on applied research and the development of innovative solutions for real security and data protection issues. The Secure Software Engineering research department researches and develops innovative solutions for the automatic identification of malware, vulnerabilities and exploits in software components.
To support our team, we are now looking for a student assistant in the field of Windows Binary Fuzzing. IT security knowledge is not necessarily required.

We offer a weekly working time of 10-20 hours, which is also available on a part-time basis.
