A leading research institute in Aachen is seeking a Student Assistant to support the control and digitalization team. This role involves developing data-driven applications, implementing APIs, and collaborating on innovative production projects. Candidates should be studying in relevant fields such as mechanical engineering or computer science. A strong background in programming, particularly with Python and C#, is essential. Flexible working hours allow students to balance their studies and work effectively.
At the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen, we work with more than 500 employees every day to make the production of the future more digital, more flexible and more sustainable. In the control and digitalization team of the departments »« and »«, we deal with the development of the control software of production machines and data-driven optimization of production processes.
As a student assistant you support our team in programming user platforms, data processing frameworks and data analysis scripts. The job requires regular attendance at our institute in Aachen. The weekly working time is at least 10 hours.
