A leading aerospace company in Bremen is seeking a Structural Design and Analysis Engineer for Supersonic and Hypersonic Vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, strong expertise in structural engineering, and experience with FEM software, particularly Ansys Mechanical. This role involves designing and optimizing aircraft structures, conducting load analysis, and selecting materials tailored for supersonic/hypersonic applications. Excellent proficiency in both German and English is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
• Strong background in structural engineering.
• Experience with FEM Software such as Ansys Mechanical.
• Good knowledge of aerospace construction materials and techniques.

Aufgaben

• Design and optimize aircraft structures including primary structure and mechanisms.
• Select materials and construction methods for aircraft structures.
• Conduct static and dynamic load analysis using FEM.
• Perform stability analysis of wings in supersonic/hypersonic regimes.

• Design and optimization of aircraft structures, including primary structure, internal architecture, landing gears and mechanisms among others of a two-staged super/hypersonic aircraft
• Material and construction method selection for supersonic / hypersonic aircraft structures
• Static and dynamic load analysis of aircraft structures using FEM
• Stability analysis of aircraft wing structures in supersonic / hypersonic regime
• Support system and subsystem tests
• Quick technical thinking and problem solving
