Job summary

The Strategy Insights & Planning Intern will work with project leadership to define scope, lead data-driven analyses, and synthesize recommendations for clients while gaining exposure to business development and internal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied math, statistics or related fields.
• MBA candidate in the first year with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Pre-MBA work experience of 3–5 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and develop the approach with project leadership.
• Lead task execution by organizing data and coordinating team meetings.
• Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses on client issues.
• Design and execute qualitative/quantitative analyses to test hypotheses.
• Summarize findings and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
• Provide thought leadership and drive innovation within projects.
• Participate in business development and contribute to internal activities.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

What You’ll Do

• Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop approach.

• Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings.

• Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses on the key client issues.

• Design and execute qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to test and analyze hypotheses.

• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate results to clients and internal teams.

• Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and practice areas.

• Participate in business development.

• Contribute to internal firm activities.

• Coach and mentor junior team members.

What You’ll Bring

• Candidates should be in their first year of an MBA program and possess a bachelor's (and often graduate) degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied math, statistics, or related fields.

• 3-5 years of pre-MBA work experience.
