Job summary

Siemens Energy in Hamburg sucht einen erfahrenen Beschaffungsprofi zur cost-efficient Versorgung von Materialien und Dienstleistungen. Sie unterstützen Engineering, Project Management, Finance und weitere Teams mit einem starken Fokus auf Kundenorientierung und Qualitätsstandards.

Sie bringen langjährige Erfahrung in procurement, ideal international, sowie Verhandlungs- und Vertragskenntnisse mit und treiben Digitalisierung sowie Innovationen in der Beschaffung voran.

Qualifications

• Universitätsabschluss in Supply Chain, Betriebswirtschaft oder verwandtem Fach.
• Langjährige Beschaffungserfahrung im Ingenieurs- oder Servicemarkt, ideal international.
• Erfahrung mit Vertragsrecht, Verhandlungen und Projekten.

Responsibilities

• Kosten senken und Lieferantenleistung gemäß Grid Technology-Zielen.
• Lieferantenverhandlungen führen und Vertragsmanagement sicherstellen.
• Digitalisierung, KI-gestützte Beschaffungseffizienz und kontinuierliche Verbesserungen vorantreiben.
• Strategische Lieferantenbeziehungen entwickeln und Scorecards/Reviews nutzen.
• Abteilungsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit mit Engineering, PM, Recht, Operations und Order Management.
• Lieferkettenrisiken identifizieren, BU-Strategien definieren und Beschaffungsmengen optimieren.

A Snapshot of Your Day

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing the cost-effective supply of materials & services in line with company processes based on customer requirements, while maintaining safety, quality and on-time delivery standards. Internally, you will provide an excellent customer orientated procurement service to support our Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Finance teams.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Drive cost savings and supplier performance in line with Grid Technology’s business goals
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management, ensuring performance, compliance, safety and customer satisfaction
• Promote digitalization, AI-driven procurement efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop strategic supplier relationships, implement supplier development programs and optimize supplier performance through scorecards and regular reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, legal, operations and order management, ensuring stakeholder alignment and transparency
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, define BU-specific product strategies in line with Siemens Energy Guidelines and collaborate with commodity management to optimize market opportunities and purchasing volumes

What You Bring

• University degree in supply chain, business or a related field
• Long-term relevant professional experience in procurement with engineered products or service provision in a project environment; preferably in international sourcing
• Experience in service or project business and excellent understanding of contract law
• Advanced analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills, with excellent English and ideally German language skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and analytical tools, with proven success in digital transformation initiatives
• Customer-focused, collaborative and self-motivated working style, with attention to detail, flexibility, prioritization, urgency, problem-solving, decision-making and continuous improvement skills
