Mapbox is seeking an experienced revenue accountant to own the monthly closing process and AR for assigned areas. You will prepare journals, reconciliations, and flux analyses to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

You will manage AR, invoicing, collections, and billing portals, respond to inquiries, and support order-to-cash by syncing Salesforce with Netsuite. Collaboration across FP&A, Billing, and Sales is required.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1–3 years of revenue accounting experience.
• BS in Finance or Accounting
• Netsuite or similar ERP system experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Results-focused while meeting weekly/monthly billing deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Support business processes by partnering with FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales
• Assist with preparation for the annual financial statement audit

What You'll Do

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close process for assigned areas

• Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for revenue and AR related accounts

• Manage full accounts receivable processes for committed customers, including invoice preparation, collections, maintaining customer billing portals, and reserve recommendations

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, taxation, and completion of invoicing prerequisites (i.e. procuring of purchase orders, completion of supplier registration forms)

• Manage the order to cash process, reviewing contracts, syncing opportunities from SalesForce to Netsuite, and setting up sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance

• Support business processes by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to the FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales

• Assist with preparation for the annual financial statement audit

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1–3 years of revenue accounting experience.

Our annual base compensation for this role ranges from $102,000 - $130,000 for most US locations and 5% to 10% higher for US locations with a higher cost of labor. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.
