We seek an experienced Engineer (all genders) for our Tech & Product Area Explore & Discover in the Shopping Experience Division, impacting our customers' shopping journey.

Tasks

• Develop and enhance Kaufland Marketplace and internal services proactively.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design and implement solutions for an exceptional shopping experience.
• Optimize frontend applications for performance, usability, and interactivity.
• Contribute ideas, solutions, and new technologies to development processes.
• Work on scalable SSR Vue 3 frontends serving high-traffic pages.
• Mentor colleagues and lead by example to improve team skills and quality.

Profile

• Extensive engineering experience with problem-solving skills in relevant tools and frameworks.
• Profound knowledge of TypeScript, Vue.js, or similar frameworks; backend experience in Node.js, PHP, or others.
• Skilled in testing, debugging, monitoring, deployment, and building responsive web apps with various API paradigms.
• Experience with A/B testing, proactive work ethic, responsibility, and process challenge.
• Excellent communication skills in an international, English-speaking team.
• Deep understanding of software development principles, infrastructure, and documentation.
