Job summary

adjoe is hiring a data-oriented analytics professional to lead the Rewarded Analytics initiatives. You will work on data quality, anomaly detection, and end-to-end data pipelines across tracking specs, data lake, and event streams, using SQL and Python to derive real-time insights for product and business decisions.

You will partner with engineering, product, and commercial teams to elevate analytics capabilities, drive cross-functional alignment, and contribute to strategic data-driven outcomes

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Data Analyst or Analytics Lead in AdTech.

Investigating 770 Million User Interactions Across a 100TB Data Lake

When a platform serves 770 million users, every optimization from reward mechanics to SDK integrations needs to be grounded in data. The Rewarded Analytics team builds the internal dashboards, alerting systems, and data pipelines that monitor the user funnel, traffic engagement, and reward consistency.

SQL and Python power deep-dive investigations and automated 100 terabyte-sized data analyses queried through Trino. Using Tableau as the main visualization tool, stakeholders have access to real-time insights on the product performance. Airflow orchestrates the pipelines that keep everything up to date. This team provides the data that turns questions into answers: every A/B experiment the product team runs, every anomaly a publisher flags, and every new SDK integration. These answers guide all the business decisions.

Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:

• Data analyst with an exceptional technical foundation. You have 7+ years as a Data Analyst or Analytics Lead in the AdTech domain, with mastery in SQL and Python for processing multi-terabyte ad impression, bidding, and conversion event streams.

• Focused on data quality and anomaly detection. You have extensive experience building anomaly detection frameworks using clustering, distribution analysis, and cross-population comparison to catch data drift, tracking drops and discrepancies before they create severe impact.

• You own the systems, not just your slice. You hold a technical helicopter view of the full AdTech data stack: tracking specs, API integrations, data lake architecture, and event pipelines. You can evaluate technical tradeoffs and guide engineering on infrastructure improvements.

• Automation-minded across the stack. You establish team-wide technical standards, building production-grade data quality suites, automated monitoring pipelines, and reusable analytics modules. Hands-on experience with dbt and Airflow is required.

• Technical leader and strategic advisor. You elevate the entire team's technical bar, drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders, and turn complex data telemetry into clear strategies that level up our ad tools and operations.
