Zusammenfassung

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Ramstein AB, Germany, providing subject matter expertise and leadership on advanced server and data center infrastructure for our Government client. You will deploy and manage partner technologies and service delivery onsite.

You will design and maintain VMware vSphere clusters, administer Cisco UCS, RHEL, and Windows Server environments, and work with customers to translate mission needs into technical requirements.

Qualifikationen

• BS and 10+ years of Data Center or Cloud-related systems engineering and delivery experience. Experience can substitute education.
• 8+ years of system administration experience in Windows, RHEL, Cisco UCS.
• Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and maintaining VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and HA/DRS clusters.
• Experience managing virtual networking (vSwitches, distributed switches) and integrating with backend storage solutions (vSAN, NFS, or iSCSI).
• Deep understanding of AD Domain Services, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP to maintain a secure and organized identity infrastructure.
• Expertise in RHEL security best practices, Red Hat Satellite, troubleshooting kernel-level issues, managing LVM, and optimizing system performance for hosted applications.
• Deep understanding of data center technologies and solutions.
• Experience with automation solutions such as Ansible, Terraform, Python.
• Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to present in front of small to large audiences.
• Security+CE or equivalent IAT II certification required.
• US Citizen with Secret security clearance required.
• Certifications are highly desired: VCP, RHCE, or equivalent. Vendor and product certifications are desired: VMWare, Red Hat, Microsoft.
