Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Technical Administration Consultant (m/f/d) to manage, maintain, and optimize our SAP system landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and stability of complex SAP environments while supporting ongoing system enhancements and lifecycle management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure SAP system availability and continuously optimize systems to guarantee maximum performance
• Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and monitor SAP systems and related infrastructure
• Manage transports and system modifications across SAP environments
• Ensure the smooth operation of the SAP system landscape, including:
  • SAP ERP
  • SAP EWM
  • SAP GTS
  • SAP BW / BW4HANA
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP Fiori
  • SAP Solution Manager / Cloud ALM
  • SAP HCM
• Monitor, evaluate, and report system performance and capacity to ensure business requirements are met
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Plan, implement, and oversee patches, upgrades, and overall lifecycle management activities
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in SAP Technical Administration, preferably with a strong SAP Basis background
• Extensive hands‑on experience with:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP ECC
  • SAP HR
  • SAP NetWeaver
  • SAP BW / BW4HANA
  • SAP BTP
  • SAP Cloud Connector
  • SAP Fiori / Gateway (Embedded and Distributed)
  • SAP Cloud ALM
  • SAP Solution Manager
  • SAP Web Dispatcher
  • SAP Business Objects Platform (Business Intelligence and Data Services)
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and architecture
• Hands‑on experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and/or RISE with SAP is considered a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
• SAP certifications are a plus
• Hyperscaler certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are considered an advantage

Language Skills

• Fluent German and English communication skills (written and spoken) are required
