Axon is seeking a Facilities Technician to manage the day-to-day maintenance and safety of its premises in Germany. This hands-on role focuses on compliance with German EHS regulations and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have vocational training in a relevant trade, a valid first aid certificate, and a background in facilities maintenance. The position offers a competitive salary, annual leave, a pension plan, and ongoing training.
The Facilities Technician (Germany) is a hands‑on, operationally focused role responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance, upkeep, and safe operation of company premises in Germany. In addition to core facilities duties, the post‑holder will provide essential on‑site support for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance activities, acting as the local point of contact for EHS matters under the direction of the Sr. Facilities, EHS Manager. This role is critical in ensuring that German facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with German and EU legal requirements, including the organisation’s ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified management systems. The post‑holder will be a reliable and proactive member of the wider international Facilities and EHS team.
Based at the company’s German facility in Kassel with regular travel to Dietzenbach and occasional travel to other European sites. Standard working hours in line with Arbeitszeitgesetz (ArbZG) requirements, with flexibility to support planned maintenance or emergency works outside core hours on occasion. Competitive salary in line with German market rates and relevant collective agreements (Tarifvertrag) where applicable. 30 days annual leave in line with German statutory entitlement. Company pension contributions in line with German statutory requirements (betriebliche Altersvorsorge). Provision of vehicle for company travel and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and work clothing. Ongoing training and professional development, including support for EHS qualifications. Membership of the relevant Berufsgenossenschaft (BG) for occupational accident insurance.
