Gesellschaft für Wolfram Industrie mbH in Dachau is seeking a Facility Manager (m/f/d) to maintain and oversee the physical site and buildings. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, safety, and efficient operations to support our production and warehouse functions.

You will coordinate with contractors, manage general site services, and contribute to reliable, well-organized premises. A completed trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience, plus a B-class driving licence, are required.

• A completed trade apprenticeship in a trades field or proven long-standing experience.
• Driving licence class B is required.
• All-rounder profile with multi-trade knowledge is a plus.
• Basic German language skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintenance, repair and upkeep of buildings, outdoor facilities and technical installations, coordinating with contractors.
• Ensure order, cleanliness and operational safety across company premises, including winter maintenance.
• Handle errands and transport between sites and manage vehicle fleet checks.
• Assist with relocation, disposal of packaging materials, and general administrative/production tasks.
• Support onboarding, maintenance planning and ensure reliable operations.

We want to continue meeting this quality standard and are looking, as part of a planned succession, for an Facility Manager (m/f/d) in full-time at our Dachau location on a permanent basis.

Maintenance, Servicing and Repairs: You carry out maintenance, repair and upkeep work on buildings, outdoor facilities and technical installations, from mowing lawns and trimming hedges to plastering, painting and tiling. You also monitor and oversee heating, sanitary, electrical and ventilation systems in coordination with specialist contractors.

Order, Cleanliness and Safety: You ensure order, cleanliness and operational safety across the entire company premises and take care of winter maintenance as well as the upkeep of outdoor areas and green spaces.

Errands and Transport: You handle courier runs (post office, customs office, etc.) and supply runs as well as transports between the WIT and BMD sites. You also maintain the vehicle fleet, including vehicle checks, coordination of workshop appointments, tyre changes and vehicle cleaning.

Disposal, Relocations and General Assistance: You take on the role of residual materials officer, dispose of packaging materials in an environmentally responsible manner and carry out cleaning and tidying work as instructed. During internal relocations you are responsible for assembling, disassembling and transporting furniture and materials. You also assist with support tasks in administration and production.

Your Expertise

A completed trade apprenticeship, e.g. as an electrician, plumber, locksmith, painter or in a comparable trade, or proven long-standing professional experience. Knowledge in several trades is an advantage (all-rounder profile).

A valid driving licence class B is required.
Physical resilience for occasional outdoor work and in varying weather conditions, as well as willingness for occasional on-call duty.

Reliability, friendliness and a service-oriented manner towards colleagues, as well as basic German language skills.
