Zusammenfassung

Clarios, headquartered in Hannover, Germany, seeks a Senior Commodity Buyer to procure assigned commodities with emphasis on balancing cost, quality, and delivery reliability. The role is based at HQ offices in Hannover.

You will drive strategic sourcing, develop commodity strategies, manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and contribute to cost reductions while ensuring compliance and continual improvement across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Commercial and/or technical education; Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Procurement (preferred), Sales, Program Management, or a related field.
• Solid expertise in Category Management and Strategic Sourcing as well as modern purchasing practices
• Strong negotiation skills and confident supplier relationship management
• Strong in market and data analysis, project management, and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of European laws and regulations; experience with e-procurement systems is a plus
• Business‑fluent English; a second language (ideally German) is desirable
• Strong communication skills, creativity, a drive for innovation, and genuine team orientation

Role Overview

As a Senior Commodity Buyer, you are responsible for the procurement of one or more assigned commodities – with the goal of achieving the optimal balance of cost, quality, and delivery reliability.

The position will be based in HQ Offices in Hannover, Germany.
