You will plan, coordinate deadlines, collaborate with writers and photographers, research and write features, interviews, and captions, and stay informed about racing events and personalities across formats.
For our editorial team, we are looking for a true motorsport expert who is at home in the scene, knows the context, and knows which stories are worth telling. Someone who doesn't have to research motorsport to understand it, but translates their knowledge and passion into strong editorial content.
You plan and coordinate the editorial content of our print edition - from topic planning to the final publication of the magazine.
You keep track of our topics, texts, deadlines, and the collaboration with the author and photographer.
You research and write texts, reports, interviews and other editorial contributions, also for our homepage.
You write precise, informative captions that convey background information and bring stories to the point.
You develop topic ideas, identify exciting stories, and actively contribute your expertise to the editorial planning.
You keep up with national and international racing events and know which developments, personalities, and events are relevant.
Thorough knowledge of motorsport:You know the scene, its actors and their connections - beyond individual racing series.
Broad knowledge of serials:From Formula 1 and WEC to DTM, GT and endurance racing, as well as national championships and historic racing series, you are expertly equipped to handle it all.
Passion for sports:You are not only interested in professional matters, but in the truest sense a fan of motorsport. You follow races, are familiar with the background, and have a sense for the stories behind the results.
Editorial expertise:You can present complex topics in an understandable way, write and edit texts safely, and plan content in a structured manner.
Organizational talent:You also keep track of multiple parallel topics and tight production deadlines.
Independence and reliability:You work in a structured way, think critically, and take responsibility for your own topics and deadlines.
A good sense of stories:You know that motorsport is more than just starting positions, race results and fastest laps.
A journalistic background or relevant professional experience is welcome. What is crucial are primarily your editorial skills, your organizational ability and your in-depth knowledge of motorsport.

The opportunity to actively contribute to the design of topics and content and to bring your own ideas to the table.
A varied work environment featuring current racing events, motorsport history, and extraordinary stories from the scene.
Flexible working hours and the possibility to work mostly remotely.
A small team that combines motorsport and photography with passion.
