Döhler is a leading global producer of natural ingredients and solutions for the food, beverage, lifestyle and nutrition industries. We are seeking a Specialist (m/f/d) - Product Specification to join our Regulatory Affairs and Product Documentation team.

You will support product experts, create and evaluate product specifications, and review documents based on customer files and portals. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years’ experience, fluent English and German, and SAP is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in food chemistry, ecotrophology, nutritional science or equivalent in the food field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in food/beverage preferred.
• Very good English and German skills required.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

• Support product experts in Regulatory Affairs and Product Documentation.
• Create and evaluate product specifications from customer documents and portals.
• Evaluate products from a food chemistry perspective regarding nutrition and quality standards.
• Advise on food law and chemistry for internal and external customers per German/European laws.

The Role

• Supporting the product experts in the Regulatory Affairs and Product Documentation department
• Creation and evaluation of product specifications and other relevant documents both in our own IT system and on the basis of customer documents and in customer portals
• Evaluation of products from a food chemistry perspective with regard to special nutritional forms or quality standards
• Advice on food law and food chemistry for internal and external customers based on German and European food law

The Profile

• Successfully completed studies in food chemistry, ecotrophology, nutritional science or comparable training in the food context
• Ideally you have 1-3 years of professional experience, optimally in the food and beverage industry
• Very good knowledge of English and German
• Experience with common MS Office applications, ideally knowledge of SAP
• Careful, accurate and responsible way of working
• Very good communication and teamwork skill
