Stealth Rocketry Startup in Germany is seeking a Special Projects Coordinator to help move high-priority initiatives across manufacturing, automation and operations from plan to completion. This is an early-career, hands-on role for someone who learns quickly, takes initiative and enjoys getting things done.

You will work with experienced project owners and teams, own defined tasks, follow through, and grow into more responsibility.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in project coordination or related area.
• A degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, business, operations or related field.
• Fluent German; English a plus.
• Willingness to work on site and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Turn briefs into clear action lists, timelines, owners and follow-ups.
• Coordinate day-to-day actions across production readiness, automation, site operations and improvements.
• Follow up on quotes, deliveries and meetings to avoid missed dependencies.
• Maintain simple project trackers, meeting notes and decision logs.
• Prepare concise progress updates and raise delays or unclear ownership early.
• Learn the business and progressively take on larger projects as you gain experience.
• Work on site with teams across engineering, production, procurement, facilities and suppliers.

We are looking for a Special Projects Coordinator to help move high-priority initiatives across manufacturing, automation and operations from plan to completion. This is an early-career, hands-on role for someone who learns quickly, takes initiative and enjoys getting things done.

You will work closely with experienced project owners and teams across the company. You do not need to arrive as an expert: we are looking for someone curious and reliable who is ready to take ownership of defined tasks, ask good questions, follow through and grow into more responsibility.

About us

We're a Germany-based rocketry startup currently in stealth mode, scaling up rapidly to meet the demand for high-performance, reliable, and scalable solid propulsion technologies for space and defense applications. We are building our first production facility, and are applying our knowledge toward serial production of solid rocket motors.

Key responsibilities

• Turn project briefs into clear action lists, timelines, owners and follow-ups, then keep work moving until tasks are complete.




• Take ownership of defined work packages across production readiness, automation, site operations and process improvement, with guidance from experienced project owners.




• Coordinate day-to-day actions across engineering, production, procurement, facilities and external suppliers.




• Follow up on quotes, deliveries, meetings and decisions so that practical dependencies do not get missed.




• Spend time with teams on site, identify blockers and help find the right person or next action to resolve them.




• Maintain simple, accurate project trackers, meeting notes, decision logs and status updates.




• Prepare concise progress updates and raise delays, risks or unclear ownership early.




• Learn the business and progressively take on larger projects as your judgement and experience grow.

What we are looking for

• 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, engineering, procurement or a related area. Internships, working-student roles, student projects and relevant personal projects all count; extensive professional experience is not required.




• A strong bias toward action: you take the next useful step, follow through on details and do not wait to be chased.




• Curiosity and motivation to learn how a manufacturing business works, including the willingness to ask questions and take feedback.




• Good organization and clear communication. You can keep several small tasks moving and make sure owners know what is needed from them.




• A practical, resilient approach when plans change or the first attempt does not work.




• Comfortable working on site and collaborating with colleagues across technical and operational teams.




• A degree, vocational qualification or equivalent practical experience in engineering, business, operations or a related area.




• Fluent German. English is an advantage.

Desirable experience

• Examples of taking initiative and completing a project, event, improvement or challenging task.




• Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics or another hands‑on environment.




• Familiarity with task trackers or project tools such as Excel, Jira, Asana, MS Project or similar.




• Experience coordinating suppliers, quotes, meetings or deliveries.




• Interest in learning project-management and operational improvement methods.
