Job summary

Vectoflow GmbH in Germany seeks a Solutions Project Manager to lead customer-specific engineering projects from quotation through development, manufacturing, calibration and delivery, up to long-term support. You coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Calibration and Quality to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of aerodynamic measurement systems and air data solutions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering, 5+ years of project management experience,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience executing technical or engineering projects.
• Experience with customer-specific engineered products or systems, ideally in aerospace/propulsion/turbomachinery.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrialization; knowledge of machining, assembly, inspection and testing.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Onshape or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Familiarity with metal additive manufacturing and Design for Additive Manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Structured, proactive and hands-on, with strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract award through final delivery.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams and monitor project milestones.
• Manage customer communication and change requests.
• Coordinate customer-specific solutions, design reviews for manufacturability and technical feasibility, and manufacturing, testing and calibration.
• Drive customer acceptance and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements, also in EN 9100 environments.
• Maintain project documentation, traceability and change control.
• Take part in customer audits and technical reviews.

In all these applications and many more, aerodynamics are optimized and controlled using Vectoflow technology. From individual probes to complete measurement systems, we develop advanced flow measurement solutions using additive manufacturing, aerospace engineering and intelligent software.

As Solutions Project Manager, you lead customer-specific engineering projects from quotation through development, manufacturing, calibration and delivery, up to long-term customer support. The projects are highly customized: aerodynamic measurement systems, air data solutions, instrumentation hardware and advanced sensing technologies for customers in aerospace, propulsion and turbomachinery.

You work closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Calibration and Quality and make sure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical and quality standards.

Your responsibilities:
