Payhawk in Berlin is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to join their Solutions Engineering team. The role requires a deep understanding of the Payhawk platform, where you will partner with Go-To-Market teams and engage in customer interactions to boost revenue.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years in an ERP Implementation or finance role, strong SAP experience, and excellent communication skills. This position offers 30 days of paid time off and additional work-from-anywhere days.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant to join our Solutions Engineering team. As a member of the team, you will partner with our GTM teams as a product and accounting systems expert to help win new customer revenue and expand the revenue of existing customers. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the business requirements of our prospects and delivering personalized live demos. Consultants must obtain a deep understanding of all aspects of the Payhawk platform so they can tailor its capabilities to various use cases, and capture and provide customer feedback to the product management team to drive product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise in feature functionality and practical application of all our product offerings.
• Participate in the RFI/RFP processes and respond to technical questions.
• Deliver personalized live product demonstrations, including integration demos, workflows and other complex use cases.
• Design, validate and document a product configuration and implementation strategy to share with prospective customers.
• Provide accounting and/or accounting system expertise.
• Partner with Sales teams to enable and provide accounting context to drive new business revenue.
• Partner with the local marketing team attending marketing events and supporting content reviews.
• Collect and analyze feedback from prospective customers and communicate it with customer success, engineering, and product management teams to drive the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an ERP Implementation Role or similar finance role (e.g., Financial Controller, Head of Finance).
• Previous SAP experience is a must.
• Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in both pre‑sales and implementation is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Native German speaker.
• Ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment and introduce new concepts to solve problems.
• Ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
• Comfort with a fluid, fast‑paced environment.
• A passion for problem‑solving.
