As a Solutions Architect (AWS) – Integrations, you design, build, and operate mission-critical integrations between epilot and customer systems. You don’t just wire systems together. You architect scalable integrations on AWS infrastructure and improve our core product & APIs to make integrations easier, safer, and more scalable over time.

What awaits you
- Architect & build integrations: Design, implement, and operate integrations between epilot and customer systems (ERP, CRM, billing, etc.).
- Build event-driven, serverless AWS architectures (APIs, queues, workflows).
- Own integrations end-to-end, including production responsibility.
Build integration tooling into the core product
- Design and implement platform capabilities and tooling (APIs, monitoring, internal tools) that make integrations faster and more self-service.
- Turn customer-specific solutions into reusable product features.
- Improve developer experience for customers, partners, and epilot engineers.
- Shape how integrations are modeled, configured, tested, and monitored.
Lead customer integration projects
- Act as technical lead for onboarding and migration projects.
- Design target architectures together with customers.
- Customize and extend standard integrations to real-world needs.
Own stability & operations
- Define and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, retries, and error handling.
- Ensure integrations meet agreed SLAs for reliability and performance.
Handle complex data flows
- Large-scale imports/exports, transformations, reconciliation.
- ETL-like pipelines using cloud-native tooling.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across distributed systems.
Work mainly on backend, cloud & architecture
- Serverless AWS microservices, APIs, and event systems.
- Occasional frontend or internal tooling work when needed.
Use AI as a force multiplier
- Daily use of AI code agents for implementation, refactoring, debugging, and docs.
- Help define best practices for AI-assisted development.

What you bring
Cloud & architecture
- Strong hands-on AWS experience, ideally serverless and event-driven.
- Experience designing and operating production cloud systems.
- Solid backend skills (TypeScript/JavaScript or similar).
Integrations
- REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, data pipelines.
- Experience integrating with external systems.
- Comfortable with messy, real-world data.
Security knowledge
- Auth, IAM, secrets management, least privilege, secure data handling.
Customer-facing confidence
- Comfortable discussing architectures with customers and partners.
- German is a strong plus (B2+). English required
