We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Solution Architect Database Solutions (all genders) to join our Practice Hybrid Cloud at one of our locations, starting as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team during the presales phase
• Handle tenders in the Oracle and PostgreSQL environment
• Gather customer requirements and develop solutions considering the IT lifecycle (Plan, Build, Operate)
• Present and explain our solution portfolio to management, especially for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure & Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS)
• Create technical foundations for proposals (SOW), including hardware/software costs and services for implementation
• Assist in preparing bids and tenders
• Manage Proof of Concepts
• Develop architecture concepts
• Derive optimal Oracle and PostgreSQL database architectures for on-premise and cloud deployments
• Conduct workshops and webcasts on database topics for clients and sales teams

Your Profile:

• Technical or business administration degree with a technical focus or comparable qualification
• Several years of presales experience
• Experience in handling tenders in the public sector
• Proven specialization and experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL architectures in both on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle)
• Analytical skills and social competence
• Responsibility and reliability
• German and English skills (at least C1 level)
• Independent and structured working style
• Willingness to continuously learn and explore new topics
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially at management level (C-Level)
• Willingness to travel (50%)
