You will validate functional and non-functional aspects of AspenTech Inmation Data Fabric, collaborating with frontend/backend developers and Product Management to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle.

The role involves manual and automated testing, performance and automation focus, and close cross-functional interaction to drive quality best practices in an agile setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as Software Developer or SDET.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

This is an opportunity to join our growing Product Quality team as a Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for functional and non-functional testing (including performance and automation testing) of the AspenTech Inmation Data Fabric products. You will work closely with front-end and back-end software developers and Product Management to gather functional requirements, understand system behavior, and proactively drive quality best practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Description:

• Deliver a high-quality products by creating manual and automated tests including test environments, installations, upgrades, and configuration in accordance with technical specifications.
• Design and perform unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing in an iterative, agile development environment.
• Engage and communicate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Drive test automation for API, UI, system, and integration testing using the MSTest framework, C#, Lua, PowerShell and Cypress.
• Design, maintain, and execute performance, scalability, and stress tests.
• Share knowledge with the team by participating in code reviews and pair programming.
• Work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one modern operating system.
• Comfortable using one or more programming or scripting languages to automate tasks and solve problems.
• Willingness to learn something new.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of cloud-based deployments, including familiarity with deployment infrastructures, virtualization technologies, and modern hosting environments.
• Good knowledge of core IT concepts, including networking, databases, server architectures, communication protocols, and information security principles.
• Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles, methodologies, and supporting tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms, IDEs, compilers, source control systems, and issue-tracking tools.
• Experience with test automation, performance testing, database validation, and the use of testing frameworks and tools.
