Zusammenfassung

SpaceTech GmbH in Germany seeks a seasoned professional to drive PA and software QA activities for space electronics projects. You will plan, execute, and supervise SW Assurance tasks, define PA plans and requirements, and support verification, validation, and delivery reviews.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with years of software/QA experience, show expertise in ECSS/MIL standards, and communicate well in English; German skills are a plus. Flexible home-office options are available.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering with several years of working experience in software development and/or Product & Quality Assurance environment
• Detailed knowledge of space product and Quality Assurance principles and methods
• Knowledge of software standards used in space industry (ECSS, MIL, esp. ECSS-Q-ST-80 SW assurance)
• Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
• Team player, good organization, and communication skills
• Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, and supervise project SW Assurance tasks.
• Define and verify project SW PA plans & requirements.
• Create and release technical docs (metrics, V&V).
• Support development, verification, test, and delivery reviews.
• Represent SpaceTech PA approach to customers & subcontractors.
• Analyze quality problems and implement improvements.

Due to our increased engagement in the area of space electronics and laser instruments in collaboration with international partners and institutes, we are hiring new employees to strengthen our team in the areas of PA and Software.

• Responsible planning, execution, and surveillance of project related SW Assurance tasks, in particular:
• Definition and verification of project specific SW PA Plans and PA requirements
• Support to creation and release of technical documentation (SW metrics, SW verification and validation)
• Carrying out development, implementation and verification control, test support and delivery reviews
• Representation of SpaceTech PA approach versus customers and subcontractors
• Analysis of quality problems, development, and implementation of solutions with corresponding documentation
• Measurement and evaluation of process weaknesses, definition, and implementation of improvements

Your skills and experience

• Degree in engineering with several years of working experience in software development and /or Product & Quality Assurance environment

• Knowledge of software standards used in space industry (ECSS, MIL, esp. ECSS-Q-ST-80 SW assurance)
