Riverty is seeking a Software Engineer (Risk Platform) to design, develop, and ship robust risk-focused software and APIs. You will work in a cross-functional team, contribute to architecture, and ensure scalable, well-documented solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of C#/.NET experience, cloud and microservices exposure, and strong REST API knowledge. German Berlin fintech context, hybrid work options available.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development experience.
• Experience building cloud-based applications and services.
• Strong microservices and distributed systems knowledge.
• RESTful APIs design and implementation.
• Relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
• ORMs, preferably Entity Framework.
• Cloud development with Azure; Azure experience is a plus.
• Messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, MassTransit or Kafka.
• Containerization with Docker; Kubernetes for orchestration.
• IaC with Terraform and observability with NewRelic.
• Good written and spoken English.
• FinTech or banking industry experience is a plus.

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Risk Platform) (m/f/d) (unlimited, full-time) to join our team located in Tallinn or Berlin

Your daily challenge will be:

• Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and other workflows
• Initiate, participate in, and communicate technical architecture designs
• Attend regular scrum ceremonies as a member of an agile cross-functional team
• Analyze, discuss, and implement business requirements while maintaining good documentation of the systems and components you create
• Bring in industry standards and best practices to continually improve our codebase and architecture
• Make a positive impact on our engineering culture by adopting, implementing, and providing feedback on both organizational and industry standards and practices

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with C# and the .NET framework, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience developing, shipping, and maintaining cloud‑based applications
• Good knowledge and experience working with microservices and distributed architectures
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
• Working knowledge of ORMs, preferably Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud development; experience with Azure is a plus
• Experience with messaging platforms in distributed architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, MassTransit, Kafka)
• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitoring and observability experience using tools like NewRelic
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Experience in the FinTech or banking industry is a plus
