Zusammenfassung

Riverty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Payment Gateway) to design, build, and maintain robust software, APIs, and workflows. You will participate in architecture discussions, collaborate in an agile environment, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Ideally you bring 5+ years of C#/.NET, cloud-based app experience, and strong REST API expertise. Knowledge of microservices, MongoDB, EF, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC with Terraform is highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on C#/.NET experience.
• Experience building cloud-based, scalable applications.
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed architectures.
• Strong RESTful APIs expertise.
• Experience with MongoDB and ORMs (EF).
• Familiar with Azure and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging systems.
• English language proficiency; FinTech exposure a plus.

We are looking for a

Senior Software Engineer (Payment Gateway) (m/f/d)

(unlimited, full-time) to join our team located in Tallinn, Berlin - flexible working conditions available

You will join one of our product teams and daily you will:

• Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and other workflows
• Initiate, participate in, and communicate technical architecture designs
• Attend regular scrum ceremonies as a member of an agile cross-functional team
• Analyze, discuss, and implement business requirements while maintaining good documentation of the systems and components you create
• Bring in industry standards and best practices to continually improve our codebase and architecture
• Make a positive impact on our engineering culture by adopting, implementing, and providing feedback on both organizational and industry standards and practices

• Hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience developing, shipping, and maintaining cloud-based applications
• Good knowledge and experience working with microservices and distributed architectures
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with non-relational/documental databases, preferably Mongo DB
• Working knowledge of ORMs, preferably Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud development; experience with Azure is a plus
• Experience with messaging platforms in distributed architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, MassTransit, Kafka)
• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitoring and observability experience using tools like NewRelic
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Experience in the FinTech or banking industry is a plus
