Stripe, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer for Optimized Checkout & Link to join a world‑class engineering team. You will own end‑to‑end problems across systems, craft new features for millions of users and collaborate with product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and operations to shape roadmaps and delivery.

The role focuses on designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, working with Ruby, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and maintaining robust automated test suites in a fully remote environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in software development.
• Must also have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Ruby and Java; Javascript or Typescript; Designing, building, and maintaining robust RESTful or GraphQL APIs; NoSQL databases including Mongo; Automated testing practices; Development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software products.

Who you are

Minimum requirements

Must have a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in software development.

Must also have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Programming Languages Ruby and Java.
• Javascript or Typescript.
• Designing, building, and maintaining robust, versioned RESTful or GraphQL APIs that support both internal and external consumers.
• Working with NoSQL databases including Mongo.
• Automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to uphold high engineering standards and code quality.
• Development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software products and features.

Salary: $161,637 - $213,800.00 /yr.

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

100% Telecommuting permitted.
