Zusammenfassung

ng-voice GmbH in Germany is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) to build next-generation IMS features for our cloud-native telecommunication solutions. You will write robust code, optimize performance, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software.

You should have strong Kamailio experience and familiarity with SIP/Diameter, Linux/UNIX, and Go or Python. We value autonomy, problem solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup-style environment

Qualifikationen

• Strong programming skills with Kamailio; Go or Python a plus.
• Experience with Kamailio desirable.
• Knowledge of telephony and signaling standards SIP and Diameter.
• Experience on UNIX/Linux and strong analytical skills.

• Develop the next generation of features and applications for our IMS solution using a test-driven development approach.
• Collaborate with a passionate team to develop next generation features and applications.
• Perform testing, validation, and optimization of solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and propose innovative solutions.
• Work with technologies such as Kamailio, Redis, MySQL, SIP, RTP, Diameter, C, Python, and Bash.
• Opportunity to work on the full spectrum of IMS nodes: P-CSCF, S-CSCF, I-CSCF, RTP-Engine, MMTel, HSS, PCRF, DRA, BGCF, TOPOS, TADS, E-CSCF.
• Understand 3GPP specs and incline the IMS solution to the standards.

We're hiring a talented Senior software engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in developing the next-gen features and applications for our IMS solution. As a Senior software engineer (m/f/d), you'll build complex applications, optimize solutions, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has expertise in telephony, Kamailio, SIP, Diameter, and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.

Tasks

What you’ll do

• Develop the next generation of features and applications for our IMS solution using a test-driven development approach
• Collaborate with a passionate team to develop next generation features and applications
• Perform testing, validation, and optimization of solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and propose innovative solutions

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Kamailio, and knowledge of Go or Python is considered a plus.
• Experience with Kamailio is highly desirable but not a must.
• Knowledge of telephony and signaling standards, such as SIP and Diameter.
• Experience and very comfortable working on UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency in English.
