neospaces is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the production codebase in Berlin. You will work on real features, alongside a close-knit team building an AI-powered brokerage platform.

Ideal candidates are currently studying CS or related fields, with knowledge of TS/JS/Python and a track record of side projects. On-site in Berlin, paid internship with potential for a full-time offer.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying computer science or related field and able to prove coursework or projects.
• Strong fundamentals and working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript/Python.
• Some web development exposure: React, APIs, databases, side projects count.
• You can show a project you built, e.g. GitHub or a deployed app.
• Curious, self-driven, and able to ask when stuck.

• Ship real features to production and see your code go live.
• Collaborate across stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres, Inngest, Claude API.
• Own small projects end-to-end with a senior engineer partner.

About The Role

neospaces is a new kind of commercial real estate brokerage. Proprietary technology. Personal dedication. Nationwide reach. For brands that want the perfect location - and owners looking for the perfect tenant. We're building the operating system for a new kind of brokerage: AI-powered matching, automated qualification, agentic workflows, structured market data - one platform our brokers use every day. We're looking for a Software Engineer Intern who wants to ship real code, not fetch coffee or maintain a wiki nobody reads. You'll work on the same codebase as everyone else, your pull requests go to production, and you'll sit next to the people who make the decisions. This is a small team. That means less structure - and far more responsibility than you'd get at a large company.

Responsibilities

• Ship real features to production - your code goes live, not into a sandbox branch
• Work across our stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres, Inngest, Claude API
• Own small projects end-to-end, with a senior engineer as your sparring partner
• Prototype AI-powered workflows: extraction, matching, enrichment
• Fix bugs, improve performance, and learn the codebase by actually changing it
• Join product discussions - we want your opinion, not just your output
• Talk to the brokers who use what you build; they sit 30 meters away

Requirements

• Currently studying computer science, a related field - or self-taught with proof
• Solid programming fundamentals and working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
• Some exposure to web development: React, APIs, databases - side projects count
• You can show us something you built, however small. GitHub, a deployed project, a hack
• Curious and self-driven - you look things up before you ask, and you ask when you're stuck
• Available for at least 3 months, ideally 6, on-site in Berlin
• Business-fluent English; German a plus, not required
• No prior professional experience required - we're hiring for potential
