Doctolib is offering a Software Engineering Intern role in Berlin to work on features that impact care teams and patients across Europe. You will develop solutions in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and designers to deliver user-friendly healthcare tools.

You will gain hands-on experience with our tech stack and AI-assisted coding tools while growing in a team of builders. This 6-month internship offers hybrid work and exposure to real-world healthcare software.

Software Engineering Intern - Fullstack (x/f/m)

Set a new pulse for healthcare! We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join the Engineering team.

Your mission will be to build innovative products and features that improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. You will work in a feature team developing solutions that directly impact healthcare professionals and patients across Europe, contributing to our Operating System powered by AI to manage all clinical and administrative activities.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build and own features alongside experienced engineers — from design and development to testing and shipping — with a direct impact on real users
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare tools
• Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer review
• Solve real-world problems that directly enhance patient care and improve doctor-patient relationships
• Explore new tools and technologies, including AI and distributed systems, as part of your continuous growth
• Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration by sharing knowledge and engaging actively with your team

Who you are

You'll be a great fit if you:

• You love problem-solving and are driven by curiosity — you're not afraid to dive into complex issues and find creative solutions

• You are comfortable coding, with the help of AI agents like Claude Code, in multiple languages and eager to learn our tech stack
• You are in your final year of a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and looking for a 6-month full-time internship
• Eager to learn and work in a team of builders
• You are fluent in English

It would be fantastic if you:

• Have experience with web development or building products in a fast-paced environment
• Have worked on side projects or contributed to open-source communities
• Are familiar with AI-assisted coding tools and eager to integrate them into your daily workflow.
