Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer for Rail IoT Devices in Munich to develop software for rail-grade passenger information systems. You will work on interior and exterior display devices, contributing to real-time, high-quality information delivery for millions of travelers in mission-critical rail environments.

You will design scalable software, collaborate with hardware and test teams, and leverage AI-supported tools to enhance product quality and development efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• Knowledge of software architecture concepts and design patterns for building robust, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Strong general programming skills; C++ experience is a plus.
• Solid Linux experience in system- or device-oriented environments.
• Curious, proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.
• C1-level English.
