Job summary

SII Germany in Ottobrunn is seeking a Software Engineer C/C++ (m/f/x) Space to join our navigation systems team. You will develop high-performance software and contribute to demanding technical requirements in avionics and space contexts.

Responsibilities include implementing navigation algorithms, maintaining software architecture, and creating automated tests. You will ensure code quality, participate in CI/CD with GitLab, and comply with ECSS standards in a collaborative, flexible workplace.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of C and C++ programming.
• Experience with Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of automated software testing.
• Familiarity with Linux environments for software development.
• Understanding of software architecture principles.
• Ability to debug complex software systems and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Development of navigation software using C and C++.
• Implementation of navigation functions, including position calculation and filtering algorithms.
• Design and maintenance of the software architecture for navigation systems.
• Development and execution of automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Support of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes using GitLab.
• Software debugging and error analysis within the navigation software.
• Conducting code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with ECSS standards throughout the software development process.
