About our client:

Our client is a company builder based in Cologne, focused on developing digital business models in banking, insurance, and financial services. Working in interdisciplinary teams, they bring modern software solutions to life, from concept to live operations.

Location: Cologne / Remote (hybrid is also possible but not mandatory)

Type of contract: Permanent (full-time)

Languages: German (fluent), English (good knowledge)

Your Role:

• Support the Solution Engineering team in designing modular IT solutions
• Contribute to cloud-based applications and modern software architectures
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to build new features
• Apply DevOps principles: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization
• Analyze and optimize existing processes and solutions
• Git & GitLab (version control and pipelines)
• Docker & container technologies
• Terraform for infrastructure automation
• SQL for data processing and analysis
• Microservice architectures and cloud services

Your Profile:

• Degree in Business, IT, or a related field
• Initial hands-on experience in software development or IT system analysis
• Interest in cloud technologies, DevOps, and agile product development
• Structured, self-driven, and team-oriented work style
• Ideally, some exposure to CI/CD, Git, Docker, or Terraform
