Quobyte Inc. in Berlin is seeking a systems-focused software engineer to work on core infrastructure components. You will write performance-sensitive code in C++, with exposure to Java and Python, and contribute to fault-tolerant distributed systems.

This role offers the chance to own parts of the IO path, database engine components, and cross-cutting features such as replication and data movement, in a hands-on, delivery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++, Java, and Python.
• Interest in fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Experience with low-level OS interaction preferred.

As a vendor of a critical core infrastructure component, we do systems programming, ie. we write code that interacts directly with the OS and hardware, and build fault-tolerant distributed systems and algorithms.We use C++, Java, and Python.If you have a passion for that, this is the place for you!
